The camera can be charged via Micro-USB - USB on a laptop but not on mobile-phone chargers... at least not on the ones I tested... The led does blink instead of glow and the camera does not charge at all.
The only thing that I really hate about the charging functionality is the fact, that it won't charge or supply while turned on.
