sx50 sports mode: focus clicking noise

Regarding the DR correction in manual -  I think  thats right you get to choose 200% or 400%. I quite like the mode for when a subject is backlit andI want to brighten it up. Im sure some could do a much better job shooting raw and photoshop after, but I have held off going done that path.

I dont know much about the clicking in sport mode. Most of my shooting is done in manual or highspeed burst. Focusing between frames in manual also goes a little crazy, so I dont use focus between frames in any mode.

Theres a lot of trial and error to  find  out what  you  like.

And theres more problems to come: its ssummer down under and try and shoot something over 50 meters away and the heatwaves can make a real mess  of it. I dont know if there are  any filters or if anything can be done about it.

Its all  a bit of a challenge but having a lot of fun.
