In reply to Jefftan, Feb 1, 2013

My Sony NEX camera malfunction when I suddenly stop in the middle of doing panorama

The camera ask me to reformat

of course I ignore it but back home, my Windows 7 computer said the same thing

What should I do? There are 900 photos in the card of my recent trip to Taiwan that I don't want to lose

Thanks for any help

By the way i try a bunch of program like Recuva, Pandora, Wise data recovery, Image rescure

all no luck

The file system or boot record is damage but i am sure the pics are still there as I haven't do anything after that incident

1. Pick out your SD card from this camera immediately in case that any new photo is taken to rewrite your original 900 photos.

2. Insert your SD card to a computer or laptop via a card Reader and download a SD card recovery tool to help you. If you know nothing about recovery tool, I personally recommend you to run a free SD card recovery tool:

3. Preview your recovered data to make sure every photo is recovered rightly.

4. Save recovered data on a different SD card in case of data loss.

5. Learn to back up your data regularly in the future.
