E-30 Button Malfunction

I have 2 e-30's....one from when they first came out and I bought another one when I knew they weren't making them anymore. As you can see I like them a lot. The newer of the two has just developed a problem with the down button....it won't go down....bugger. I use it a lot. I rang the repairers in Queensland and as I live in Townsville and they are in Brisbane I tried to get a quote over the phone. The closest I could get was $150 - $250 for labour plus whatever part required. It would cost me $75 for a quote if I didn't go ahead with repairs. As I still have a good one I may not go ahead with repairs and keep the money to go toward an OM-D for the future....if I go that way.
