Lots of wiggle room in that statement.

Typically, with an official Olympus statement, you learn as much from what they don't say as what they do say.

The official statement is that they are committed to supporting both standards. And Olympus usually keeps their broad statements, though not necessarily in the form some might expect.

Oly could just as easily support the 4/3 standard with a dual purpose M43 and 4/3 body, as they could with a dedicated 4/3 body alone. Such an arrangement would be easier to cost justify the development, as a logical extension to the OMD line. It would also be able to use the fast M43 primes, some of which are quite good.

Not trying to rain on anyone's parade, just pointing out the market realities of 2013. An OMD-Pro would suit me just fine, but may not be what some 4/3 owners are expecting.
