Partitioning an ssd.....

Hi,

I just built a new LGA2011 system (6 core CPU, 32gb, 256gb HD) with  256GB Samsung 830 SSD. This drive is for mainly for OS/programs/Scratch, but I would like to partition off a small amount of space for data. I'll use this space for files I am currently working on, such as photos, brochures, websites and videos and when finished archive the off to my 3tb RAID 1 array.

From what I have read partitioning ssd's is no problem. What I am wondering is if I can create and adjust my partition sizes after I have my OS an apps set up using Windows disk management or if I need a special SW like partition magic?

Thoughts?
