Nex-6 and the Minolta MC Rokkor PG 85mm f/1.4 lens - A few Photos

The images are soft.  Why?

1. Not focused properly?  Doubtful.

2. Soft lens?  Maybe, but I think the reason is......

3. Shooting at 85mm EQ with a shutter speed of 1/60.....Ding.. Ding... I think that is likely.

Hand holding an 85mm EQ at 1/60 is certainly doable but violates the safe shutter speed rule.

What is the fascination with shooting wide open?  I have no clue.  I find the dogs Nose OOF rather distracting.

That said the last image is nice warts and all (:->
