GH3, WiFi and Starbucks

I use a MacBook.  As others have reported, the GH3 will direct connect to a PC (OS unknown) but not the MacBook. See this Blog.  When I try to direct connect to my MacBook it looks like it is logging in but then stops dead.  I have to power off the GH3 to unfreeze it.

I can send images to Flickr and other sites direct from the GH3 through my network.  You have to register with Lumix Link before you can do this.

And, it connects perfectly fine to my phone (Android) and Nexus 7, also Android.  I can use it both to remote the GH3 as well as upload pictures.
