Watching UK live tv and streaming to iPad so both are synced

I use(d) Slingbox, even bought the £30 app for my iPhone, and I'm pretty sure there is some delay due to the encoding/transmission. It's also quite expensive.

What about alternatives to the iPad, a small portable tv/monitor either with it's own in-built tuner, or, if you use a cable/sky box, an RCA/SCART input. It's not wireless but it may work.

There may also be wireless/bluetooth video distribution things.

Sorry to be so vague, just thought it worth suggesting alternatives to the ipad.

btw, I could do this, wired, with my old Archos, maybe they have something in their range.
