Does Firmware Update 1.04 Address this Issuessue?

I am downloading X-E1 firmware update 1.04 and their dialog direct quotes that the update corrects the anomoly where with the 18-55 at mid zoom ranges would produce undefined pixels in the upper left edge. Could this be the answer?
