Opinions with 42nd Street Photo

Hi I've looking to pick up a 16-50 2.8 for my A55. And I had stumbled upon a good price for a "White Box" samples that listed as new on Amazon and sold through Amazon. The reseller is 42nd Street Photo.In looking up reviews, they are all over the place. Anyone ever have experience buying through them with Amazon? I might pull the trigger later today and pick it up. I do question the validity to their claim that the lens comes with a the 1 year mfg. warranty. Any opinions or experiences?
