Joe,

I have been following your thread with considerable interest. I have an Epson 1400 that is used infrequently and could be converted to perform a gloss overcoat. One question: As the GO is clear, how can a nozzle check be performed to make sure there are no clogs? Or is this not an issue with GO?

Bob

You do have a point there! However it does not seem to be a problem at least so far.

Like with any printer, you will need to at least run something on it once a week or so. There is no magic number to how frequently one should print to prevent clogging, and each printer seems to ast as an individual. You environment, specially humidity levels is the biggest contributor to no clogs or lots of clogs.
