Theres not so much 'learning' involved.. they're very intuitive. Very flexible as well, if you want straight forward triggering - they do it. If you want TTL - they do it. No messing around, and the same units do both.
If you want to restrict your use to controlling Speedlights there are other options, but as was first mentioned about these these are not a cheap option.. "I paid a kings ransom for my Radio Popper PX".
