China vs. Japan

Just remember an expression that dates back a very long time:  "Caveat Emptor," which is let the buyer beware.

In this case the 25mm lens you bought is a beautiful lens, and where it is made has no bearing whatsoever on that fact.  I own seventeen of the Zuiko lenses, some made in Japan, others in China, and each has their strengths regardless of the point of manufacture.  Use it, enjoy it, learn from it and move on.
