My Auto Takumar 35f/3.5 protruded a few thousands too far into the mouth of the beast and the mirror hit the housing around the rear element. I filed material off of the housing. Those are the only Takumars I have in M42 mount.
I think you posted about the Takumar 35mm f/3.5 before re how its rear protrudes far enough as to hit the mirror. I did read that post and it stopped me from buying one. If that was your post - thanks.
