Canon Financial Statement for 2012

I think the fact that they are briskly selling their current sensor technology belies any need to "upgrade" willy nilly. You can make the argument that XYZ company has a better sensor than Canon but it is obviously not better in a way that attracts Canon customers. Nikon released tech that I wanted so I bought a D800E and before it, a D3x. These cameras complement my Canon gear. I suggest you look into doing something similar.
