What's wrong with this horse?

Hi guys, what do you think about this horse?  Didn't do too well in a challenge so I'm hoping for a little feedback.  Not really complaining as I have learned to take challenge placements for what they are.  Maybe someone who gave a low vote could help me improve this picture/future horse pictures.  I don't think it's super sharply focused but still is in focus... Is it composition?  Anyway, any feedback would be appreciated.
