D4 or D800 + $3000 in accessories

Sounds like you want the D4!  Its a great choice.  It will definitely give you high FPS and really fast focus lock for a "run and gun" shooting style.  However,

- if you need silent operation with full resolution, you will still need a blimp.

- if you shoot weddings and events, you will still need a flash. (If you already have, for example, an SB800 you are fine, the 910 is a small upgrade IMHO).

- You probably don't need the 24mm, and have to decide how much you want it.

I expect you will be happy either way you go, just for different reasons.
