Totally agree!

I started learning with the manual settings but now I only work with ttl and i-ttl. It is so convenient when you can have everything controlled on camera instead of running to change settings on the flash every time!

The nikon ittl system is just awesome. You only have to modify a little bit on what it gives you - if that was not good enough, which normally won't happen - and not to start from scratch and test the group back and force.

So you use ttl when off camera too?  Interesting.  I have decided to go ttl as I can always get a cheap manual later when I am ready for another light.
