Whenever I process RAW photos it takes a long time and my guess is that it would take a lot less time with an SSD drive. Does anyone else use one for their photos? For under $200, it seems like it's worth the extra speed.

OCZ Agility 240g

ADATA XPG 256g

*loading* the RAW file will be a bit faster, but other than that, 240GB is a drop in the bucket if you shoot a lot.

My setup uses a 256GB drive for OS and PS, 2x1.5TB (RAID1 for redundancy) for my files storage, and 32GB of RAM. I set up 16Gb of the RAM as a RAMDisk, and tell PS to use that as the scratchdisk.

That's how you get a setup to fly!
