K-5 IIs & FA31 sharpness

Yes, the degree of detail and texture on the sign is impressive. But I agree with a previous poster that the sharpness is overdone, and I suspect that one of my three 28s coupled with the original K5 could have produced something pretty close at f/5.6.

I often wonder about the FA31 - should I have taken that plunge? I"m still not sure.
