I know these companies just HAVE to start with a standard zoom/prime... but the clear winner for m43 in early 2013 would be a 50-150-ish/2.8 OIS. We have the standard zooms, but there is only one fast telephoto option at present, and it is very very expensive. Tamron could even reuse their design between NEX and m43 and not suffer too much.

The last point is very true.

With fast telephoto lenses, format differences would produce very little weight and size savings. There may be something between FF and M43, but very little indeed between NEX and M43. One might accuse Sigma's shorter relatively slow primes of not efficient for M43, but a 50-150/2.8 is an entirely different matter.
