And of course power consumption. The more CPU Power the higher the battery demand

The Expeed 3 does in the Nikon 1 V2 15fps@14MP which means 210 MP/s and the result for a 24MP cam like a D600 could be 8fps. Also the mechanic part (mirror etc.) could do the speed, if the sensor data read-out where not limiting ...
