Hmmm.. banding and posterization, and that color constancy

Lots of posterization and banding in the dressess on the lower part of the photo (the black pants, and left of the green bag).  This is ISO 200 F2.8 1/80 in overcast light...

The lens seems good, the sharpness seems there. The color seems ... collectively seeen resampled down seems peculiar but not too bad. But these other issues...

You can tell that dress the woman on the right is supposed to look mostly one color (greyish tone) and we have the now famous greens and magentas tones around (though not too strong, but they are there).

Seems like every time there's a neutral color this happens. The banding I didn't expect.

Converting the shot to B&W fares much better, but there's still that banding and posterization.  I can understand if this was ISO 1600, but not 200 under daylight.
