For my money the X-E1 delivers detail you would normally expect to get from a sensor with many more MP's than just 16MP. It seems more like a 20MP cam to me. It is superb as a landscape cam. Hard to believe some posters who suggest otherwise, maybe they just haven't seen what the X-E1 can do with their own eyes.

Cheers

So, the X-E1 delivers a whole 25% more resolution than a 16 megapixel camera?  Seems trivial at best.  In exchange for this 25% resolution, one loses total support from Apple and their program Aperture, real support from ACR or, an extra $300 expense for Capture One.  That's a pretty convoluted system.

Imagine if Fujifilm used an actual 20 megapixel sensor?  Then you get it all.

Imagine if Fujifilm managed to remove the AA filter without the hassle of the X Trans.  Ricoh did it with their GXR M module (and I think Pentax did too).  Can't Fujifilm design as well as Ricoh?
