I have a macbook that I bought in 2010 and had 1.6.8 or snow leopard. I upgraded to 4gigs of ram. I just put Mt. Lion on it, and I could swear it is running a little bit slower.
I have about 25 gigs of internal drive space left, but I have had 25 gigs from when I was running snow leopard and things seemed fine. I know you are supposed to have more. But I wasn't having problems before Mt. Lion.
Now it seems a little slower. I also just started using firefox instead of safari. Any ideas? I can, and actually am in the process of throwing out a bunch of unneeded stuff for more disk space. Is my computer too old to be running Mt. Lion? That was a suggestion from the Apple communities.
You can sort out this problem just follow these steps:-
1. reboot the system by pressing Commend R Button
2. Open Disk Utility
3. Select Verify Disk for any errors then select Repair Disk
This process will be beneficial for you, let me know.
