Re: Crop DSRLs on the verge of becoming obsolete - Nonsense

According to Webster obsolete is;  " of a kind or style no longer current : old-fashioned <an obsolete technology>"

LP records are obsolete.

Manual transmissions are no longer current, so obsolete.

hand-held light meters, I have no idea.

film cameras, obsolete.

tube (valve) amplifiers, obsolete

Crop dslrs, obsolete.

these things all represent outdated technology that is no longer current. That does however not mean that a minority still enjoys using these products and believes, rightly or wrongly that these products are superior to what the mainstream uses and considers to be current technology.
