There are old pilots, & there are bold pilots, but there are no old bold pilots.

There was a site I saw a year or so ago that did a fairly thorough comparison of the Kenko MC4's DG300s & Canon. Can't remember if they tested version II or III of the Canons or both. I think if you can afford them version III of the Canons are best, but for a lot less money the Kenko's 1.4's come close. From memory even the cheap MC4 Kenko 1.4 did very well
