Not correct. To imply Adobe is required to comment on "how well" their camera support is, then this is utterly ridiculous.

What I asked for was evidence that the support for X-Trans raws had improved between releases, but no such information exists that I'm aware of. Can you provide a link? That would support your claim that the aforementioned problems are "issues of the past".

No you did not.

I stated "Adobe clearly state they now support the X-Trans sensor in the X-E1 and X-Pro1" to which your asked the following ...

"Can you please provide a reference to where Adobe state this?"

This I have done. Please don't add things to suit you after the fact.

Anyway, more detail of what support is available for specific body and lens combinations seems quite reasonable. There are a number of features in Lightroom that are only supported with specific cameras and lenses. Including a large spectrum of raw handling support, from the basic ability to open a given raw file, to complete support for vendor-specific attributes with a raw file.

As stated this is not a problem for me and for others. I have tried for days to emulate the "bad" effect you refer to but can not. So for me and others what we see with our own eyes is exactly the opposite to what you are trying to promote.

I'm sorry, but the eye's have it.

The fact is this is an issue of the past.

Unfortunately not. I hope that it'll be addressed in the near future, but as it stands, Lightroom 4.3 produces undesirable artifacts when converting some X-Trans raw files.

Evidence my side in the real world tells me it is an issue in the past.

I have not been able to emulate the "watercolor" effect no matter how I hard I try. Others too are processing using ACR, CS6 and LR without any issues at all now, in fact, achieving brilliant results as has been well documented countless times in countless posts of late.

And, as I've already said, others have demonstrated that issues remain in the current version of Lightroom.

And as I have stated, I and others have real world experience to show this is a non-issue any longer.

Cheers
