S3pro/ S5pro 50mm lens question

Hello, I still have my old Fuji DSLRs, but miss a portrait lens and think about a 50mm AF lens. Does anybody who also has those cameras have experience with the 50mm G lenses by Nikon (1,4 or 1,8 versions) or the Sigma 1,4 EX?

I remember having used the 50/1,4 D on my old S3pro where it somehow never rendered nice pictures and had a tendency to overexposure. But at that time the new G lenses didn't yet exist. And what about the Sigma? How big are chances that the Sigma has misfocus?

Thanks for any useful hints. Maybe even a sample?
