Manual exposure is quickly set by watching the exposure scale in the viewfinder and turning either the command dial (shutter speed) or subcommand dial (aperture). That actually came across my mind once -- Those people does take great pictures when there were no AE & AF -- I encouraged myself.... and then I found out later I was using the same setting on M the and forgot to change it. That was really a disaster in a family vacation... Also, shooting during the sunset or shooting kids running in and out of the door constantly is really easier with Ap mode.

I'm not a pro, and I just want to get by with the laziest way.
