Tips for shooting music concert?

Hi, a coworker of mine asked if I would be willing to take pictures of his band. I’m a beginning photographer (my flickr page http://www.flickr.com/photos/67927332@N06) and one of those “buy gear first, watch youtube, shoot later” types.
This is the band and the location of the show …http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0Nqqd58AO8
This will be the first time I’ll shoot something like this so I was hoping for some tips and advice. I thinking the following, shoot manual, spot focus, ISO 1200, multi-frame Noise reduction? Not sure about lenses.
I’m hoping my current inventory will do the job. Of course, if there is an opportunity for new gear…….: )
Sony A77
Tamron 70-200; 2.8
Sony CZ 85; 1.4
Minolta 50; 1.7
Sony 16-50; 2.8
Thanks!
