But what would you make with 50 shots? we shoot extensively to keep only the best ones. So if RAW gives me latitude to meet my expectations, it's better than many JPEG attempts.
Exactly. Choosing the right 50 shots and tweaking them takes far longer than actually producing JPEGs from them. But even if I were to blindly process 500 RAW shots, without even reviewing them, into JPEGs (which I would never do), it wouldn't take more than an hour or two. It would, however, be a rather pointless exercise.
