Recently attended a healthcare convention in Puerto Rico and was able to get out and about to shoot a few shots both there and on a day trip to St. Croix. I have both a Canon 60D and NEX 5n and used this trip as an experiment to see if I could be happy traveling light with just the RX100. All in all, I was very pleased and am considering selling my other gear and going a year with just a P/S. What I'd like to see in a successor is 24mm at the wide end. Also in the bright sunlight it's hard to check exposure and details on the LCD, but when back in the room was pleased with most of the images.

Enjoy!

Nice shots. Have you tried the "Sunny weather" LCD brightness setting for better viewing in bright sunlight? For sure it is very bright!

Also I assume these are RAW conversions, or jpegs? I looked at the first one at full size and it looks a bit weird (at pixel level, the wholre pic looks great!)
