I wonder when Tamron will hit NEX with an E mount?

I had a Tamron zoom on my first SLR (Minolta X700 I think) and for the price, it offered great performance considering it's versatility. Do NEX users think Tamron should go E mount if the IQ is up to snatch? I am still waiting for that perfect good value versatile yet compact (NEX) zoom. Something similar to the excellent (hence they still make it!) Panasonic 14-140mm that I had on my GH2. Only downside to that, the size and weight, but with today's tech, if Tamron could create a compact light zoom for NEX, that would be #peachy.
