A77 v. 1.07 = Really big yawn!

I don't know where you teach, but in Canada with a decent education and 10 years service you'd be making 90k with 3 months a year off.  After 25 years most are well over 100k.

The hobby per se, is relative to other stuff.  My friend's boat needs $300 gas every week in the summer.  Plus 1k to store it over winter and put it back in.  And 100 bucks a month for insurance.  And it cost 28k itself.

I suppose you can tan on the deck, I'm the guy with the camera on shore shooting the ...propeller.
