both my 24-70's are complete crap and at Nikon right now being repaired due to lack of sharpness and inconstant exposure through the zoom, and one of the lens is in for the second time with in a year for the exact same issue. selling them both when they come back from Nikon... now I'm shooting with a $1300 24-70 tamron lens that is awesome $.02
