Yes. My primary concern is about QC. All others details are secondary for me.

Well, like others, I have used Nikon dslrs and a Nikon 1 for the last almost 6 years now, never had a QC issue with bodies or lenses. I know it can happen, it has before with other types of gear, from different makers. Lemons are there for someone to get them. Nikon seem to have decayed somewhat in that dept lately, hope they come back.

Re Canon, there have been issues as well, hope you get a good one.

BTW: which Nikon camera/lens have shown QC problem for you lately?
