How about the plenty of offers for the 17mm 2.8 screw in 37mm hoods? Would that work with the 17mm 1.8 as well? It is the same filter thread and FoV.
Nope, 46mm is the right size for the 17mm f1.8, not 37mm.
I already had this hood for use on the Panasonic 20mm f1.7 and it works just fine on the 17mm f1.8..
