Just my thoughts. I really hope the new Sigma 30 mm f1.4 will perform better when it comes to corners around f5.6 - f8. I like to have a small, light, fast equivalent of a 50 mm lens on FF. I hope the new 30 mm f1.4 will be a redfinition of the "APS-C standard fast prime" and hit the titles like the Sigma 50 mm f1.4 did a couple of years ago, but the "advertising" does not give much hope yet. Currently I rarely use my Sigma 30 mm f1.4, becouse the 50 mm f1.4 is way sharper in the corners and has better AF speed and accuracy. But I miss the angle of the 30 mm quite often. I still did not abandon hope for an APS-C designed 20 mm f1.4, maybe in the future. I would love that too.
