GH2 or GH3 for film ?

Hi. I am thinking of getting a Panasonic GH2 or GH3. It will mainly be for filming. Will a hacked GH2 give me the same quality that i can get with an GH3? Since i have a Sony A77 for stills panasonic will be almost for film only. I can get a GH2 much cheaper than GH3.
