Show Your Snaps...January 28, 2013

So as one of my New Year resolutions is to take more pictures I'm going to try to post only what I took in the previous week.  I'm also going to restrict myself to no more than 4 and they can't all be of the same things.  Here goes then.

After the shocking weather we've had in the UK recently it was nice to see the blue sky for a change and I got out early one morning to snap the sunrise in the street outside my house



Continuing with the theme of trying to catch the birds on the feeders outside my window I snapped this little guy.  It's a long tailed tit and normally they come in groups of 5 or 6 at once, but they don't sit still long enough to catch.



One ting I want to do more of is macro (thought with no dedicated macro lens it's one of those "do what you can with what you have" things).  Too early for the insects, but still plenty of subjects if you look.



Last one and it's another bird.  This is quite a close crop on a nuthatch. I've been trying to catch them with food in their beak and this one was posing perfectly.
