Abraham,

I am blown away by the fact that someone could be so clueless after reading your post and comment that any camera could do this. Even if that was the case (which I don't believe), who cares? You certainly weren't claiming that the E-M5 was the only camera that could do it.

Anyway, I loved your images and the range you showed. They all show a level of talent I only hope to achieve some day. Of particular interest to me are these two. They capture people living life. Can't ask for anything more than that. The first, in that it places you in on their conversation, the second because it's the kind of shot that doesn't take itself to seriously.

I did like this one, it is of my brother and his wife-to-be chatting at the end of the table, moments captured as they are make the appeal of smaller more portable cameras.

Same as above

And a couple of portraits for fun shot the night before I was leaving int he living room, with 1 FL50r shot into an umbrella:

nieces, sister and brother, 45mm f1.8 fl50r shot into an umbrella, no fill.

Here's my take on your second shot above. Not quite in the same league, but a shot I love for sentimental reasons. I think I'll try it in B&W.

Go for it, The tone control function really helps give BW some pop... if you use the Olympus software, you can pretty much put those settings in camera for future shooting. This is a great picture with the innocent front row and the range of expressions in the back row, images like this will always be good to look at, and isnt that why we take them

Family shot gone awry...

Cheers,

Steve
