For its time in 2002, the Fuji s602z with its super CCDIII sensor.

There were two weaknesses:

1) You could not set the frame counter to Continuous and Fuji refused to update the software.  On a three month trip I failed to be careful and when I down loaded images they replaced others.

2) I would have preferred to be able to manually move the barrel of the lens instead of everything being motor driven.

The Fuji s602z did produce  excellent travel photos for me.  It also produced great macro shots.

Obviously, I've moved on, but kept the camera to play with from time to time.
