one can't defend fuji with the initial pro release, they cocked it up at the start and it felt like no one outside the company had even switched the camera on to verify its operation.
The X-Pro1 can take the same high quality photos now as it could on the day it was released, so they improved features and fixed bugs with firmware updates much like most other cameras.
