Mean spirited C&C requested.

Constantly calling attention to being the annoyance you can be is annoying too.

Thank you Dr. Tullis.

As I said before, good work, nicely framed execution (thought they are tightly framed, it's understood being caught with the wrong FOV and just making the best of it). Though can you explain what happened with the last (the tower's cone of light)? You have me wondering why a photographer of experience would show a failed shot like that. For a novice that would be a keeper, but for someone experienced, especially a know-it-all such as yourself, I'm baffled. But I've always been baffled with the difference in what you say and what you do.

Well, I am baffled as well.

I think it was the first shot taken and was just a set up shot.

It should have gone in the trash bin.

However, it is interesting that you are the only one to comment on it, don't you think?

You're the one that tells novices they insult the better photographers on the forum when they post less than textbook photographs. I'm not insulted by your work, and for most anyone else I wouldn't have raised the point. I should get points for understanding (before I read later) that you started out using the wrong focal length, no?

But seriously - did you really think I could let the irony pass w/o holding up the mirror? Don't think it's not obvious that you aren't as serious about your work as you are with the weaker of the pack.

I just don't have much talent.

Get in line.   We all have to work at it and evolve.   But there's no shame in needing to develop one's talent (which is what one tries for if serious).   It's one of the reasons folks gather on sites like this.   Shaming or cornering those with even less knowledge, experience, or talent would be hypocritical, and no one likes them.   Such behavior from a master photographer would be deplorable, no less from us pee-ons who gather here daily.

I'm sorry. . . it seems our time is up. (Thank goodness, eh?)
