Nice to finally see positive review of Oly 17mm 1.8 :)

I read Robin Wong's review of this lens first.After seeing what he did with this lens, I didn't give too much about the lens tip review. they may have got a weak sample or  just a bad day.

True, this lens might not be the sharpest available. But from what I have seen so far, it is still so good that you really need to be a nitpicker in order not to like it. I will certainly get it, once they find some reason and start selling it for an at least somewhat reasonable price in europe (they charge more than half a kilo here).

What I found most interesting in Steve's review wasn't the final outcome but rather the comparison between his OMD and the rx1. The OMD performed very respectable here I'd say.
