First a bit about me - I have about 45 years of experience in photography. Some of it is in professional aerial and nature photography and now as Microstock photographer. I spend a lot of time in the web, download samples of both Jpeg and RAW images of different cameras and lenses and compare them to find the best equipment for me. The most important factors for me are sharpness and IQ true to life colors.

Just recently I have started to discover the Fujifilm X-Pro1 - I have to say that I am having an extremely pleasant experience!! For a very long time I did not experience that are completely razor sharp, great dynamic range, IQ and colors. The best results are from RAW files which I worked on with PS ACR - the images are very flexible, easy to work on and totally sharp! The results I am getting remind me of the results I used to have with Hasselblad and Leica. Only one of my current cameras, Sony DSC R1 with super sharp Zeiss lens, come close to the Fuji X-Pro 1. It is a new discovery for me and even though the camera and lenses are not cheap, I am going to save up in order to get it!

Just felt like sharing...

You are not the only one pal! I have no doubt whatsoever that in terms of IQ Fuji X-Pro1 is on par with FF if not better.. With just IQ in mind its hard to justify the high price tags of DSLR Pro Gears
