The 75 is stellar

But the 35-100 is very flexible, for video and stills. Impressive compared to my Canon 70-200 L IS mkII size, I almost don't know it's there. The 35-100 also comes with a hood. The 75 has great subject isolation, focus speed, and is a luxury to have in addition to a zoom. I think your 17mm and 45 1.8 are the ideal friends lenses, so don't fret over loosing the low light ability, so get the zoom!
