I've owned both cameras and I really can't see any difference at all in the image quality. I now have the 6 and the focus is noticably faster than the 5N in good and bad light, I can't really put a ficgure on it but I don't miss as many shots due to slow AF. I was using the 18-55 on all three cameras.
